Quentin Grady was born in Hartford, Connecticut and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon receiving a scholarship from the U.S. Navy, he graduated from the University of Utah with degrees in computer science and mathematics. He subsequently completed graduate studies in nuclear engineering and served as a naval officer on nuclear submarines until 1980. After leaving the service, he held several senior management positions in the software industry for companies like Measurex Systems and Oracle, specializing in utility industry solutions designed to address business, finance, operations and engineering challenges. Passionate about fiction writing from an early age, he has devoted the last decade writing and publishing seven novels of the Tales of the Ghost Eagle series with one more in production.
